About Me
Hi ~ My name is Schuyler, but most call me Sky!
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist living in Los Angeles. I currently provide virtual psychotherapy to teens, adults, and couples in Private Practice. I also teach DBT Skills to teens and their parents in adolescent treatment.
Having grown up in New Jersey, Connecticut, South Carolina, and New York - I’m an East Coaster at heart who feels most at home in California. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Interpersonal Communication from the College of Charleston in South Carolina, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University here in Los Angeles.
Therapeutic Style
I offer a warm, validating approach to therapy — typically drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Humanistic, and Psychodynamic theories — as well as from the principles of 12-Step Recovery.
I am committed to providing inclusive, culturally sensitive, and LGBTQ+ affirming care.
No matter the method used or content being explored, my priority remains the same: to meet my clients where they’re at with kindness, clarity, and a sense of ease.
